How does entertainment reservations on FOS work?

We have been on FOS 3 times, but they didn't have pre reservations for shows online. I just reserved ice show and other shows online, but not sure how it works once onboard. Do I still need to get ice show tickets by standing in line as before? What does an online reservation mean? Will I get any tickets or do I keep order summary from online? When I get to theater for show (regular shows) do I show something or does something guarantee me a seat? I do know in the past before this process, we sometimes got to the theater 25 min. early and there was barely a seat left. Does this pre reservation assign you a particular seat? Now that they use this system, do they first seat all those with reservations, or can just anyone walk in? Would love to hear from someone that has done this, particularly on FOS recently.

You just show up and they will scan your card. the shows you booked are saved in your online account.
