Nachi Cocum - Water and ice in drinks

Does anyone know if there will be a problem with the water or ice used in making the drinks at Nachi Cocum? I know in parts of Mexico, this would be something to watch out for. Has anyone had any problems with food or drinks?

most of the resorts use bottled water for ice. i know the water (we drank) came from a bottled. we ate/drank for no problems.

on mainland mexico, you aren't suppose to eat anything uncooked...like salads, unpeeled fruits, etc. cozumel has different water system, we ate with gusto and had great time at nachi.

We wre there in July...and can report that I had no ill effects from our great trip to nachi

They use purified/bottled water; we had no issues when we were there earlier this year. Just to be safe, after a few frozen drinks you can start pounding down beers. :D

I had mixed drinks; no problems. DH had lemonade and i think tea/ No issues!

No problem for me last December. Of course, if you put enough booze in the drink that should kill any bacteria. ;)
