Legend or Freedom for Spring Break

Ok, need opinions on whether to go on Legend (western caribbean) or Freedom for 8 days (Nassau, Curacao, Aruba, Dominican Republic) for spring break. Only have sailed on Carnival Dream 3 times in the last year and half. Bringing 2 15 year old boys.

Not being a big fan of Nassau, in comparison to other ports. I would pick the western (Legend). Some of the ports on the Freedom I have not done. But the western ports are all nice IMHO.

LUV the Spirit class, But I would sail on the Freedom in this itin !!!

Also love the Spirit class but 8 days trumps 7 day cruise.

I too, agree with those above. LOVE "Legend", but the itinerary for "Freedom" is much, much better, plus you get an extra day! I personally, would do "Freedom".

i think that there will be more kids on a 7 day sailing then an 8 day one.

 

There is more for the kids to do on a western cruise.

We are doing the Legend in January- Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belieze and Roatan.

Swimming with stingrays, ruins, ziplining. Yeah- much more to do in these ports then on the 8 day one unless they prefer the beach and shopping

Just got off the Legend yesterday.

 

Sailed the Freedom a couple of years ago.

 

I would do the Legend 100 out of 100 cruises regardless of itinerary. (unless the Legend just sailed to Freeport or Belize exclusively)

 

The Legend is a much nicer ship than the Freedom.

 

I also agree with Selene that there is a TON of things for teens to do on the western itinerary.
