2910car Posted October 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2011 We are traveling with our children and grandchildren ages 5-10 on the Allure in June and are wondering if anyone has seen the Chicago show. We were told it is not suitable for children. Is this correct? If so we will have to split up and leave some adults with the kids and then have those adults see the show later. Thanks
Ggdean Posted October 2, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 2, 2011 How old are the kids. Friends of ours saw it with 2nd and 9th graders and said it's a bit risqué but no worse than dancing with the stars.

kitty9 Posted October 3, 2011 #4 Share Posted October 3, 2011 The costumes alone are very much adult, not to mention the dancing, which can best be compared to pole dancing at a "gentleman's" club. Really not for kids 10 and under. Put the kids in the club and the adults go to the show.
eh2zed Posted October 4, 2011 #5 Share Posted October 4, 2011 Might get more response on the RCCL board
SadieN Posted October 4, 2011 #6 Share Posted October 4, 2011 If it's anything like the Broadway production or the movie I'd think not. At worst they might get very bored and figitey not understanding the story. Rent the movie and decide for yourself. It follows the play closely. I do not know if the ship board production is the whole show or a shortened version.
