Chicago show on Allure suitable for children?

We are traveling with our children and grandchildren ages 5-10 on the Allure in June and are wondering if anyone has seen the Chicago show. We were told it is not suitable for children. Is this correct? If so we will have to split up and leave some adults with the kids and then have those adults see the show later. Thanks

The costumes alone are very much adult, not to mention the dancing, which can best be compared to pole dancing at a "gentleman's" club. Really not for kids 10 and under.

Put the kids in the club and the adults go to the show.

If it's anything like the Broadway production or the movie I'd think not.

At worst they might get very bored and figitey not understanding the story.

Rent the movie and decide for yourself. It follows the play closely.

I do not know if the ship board production is the whole show or a shortened version.
