Time changed to island time

If your ship stays on EDT (Florida time), then port time is an hour earlier, if your cruise is before Nov. 6 (change to standard time). After Nov. 6, the ship time and Cayman port time will be the same. Carnival usually maintains ship time while visiting other time zones. Some of the other cruise lines change to the local port time.

Are you sure your times are Eastern. Most cruise lines publish arrival/departure times in local time. Ships clocks usually are at local time.

Carnival stays on ship time and does not change. We have sailed on Disney and Princess also and both those lines change to local time.

It is a Carnival ship out of Florida. The date is March 20th. Thanks for any help! I know that Carnival stays on ship time, but just wants to make sure I tell the tour company the right time. Thanks again!

DST begins March 11, 2012, so your ship will be on EDT, which is an hour later that Cayman local time.
