ttmoff Posted October 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 6, 2011 The pictures online and in my pre-travel brochure make it look like it's standing room only. Please tell me the pictures are not to scale.
Mura Posted October 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 6, 2011 The PH cabins are all deep enough to hold lounge chairs and a small table.
JimandStan Posted October 6, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 6, 2011 Sorry for the huge photo, but I wanted you to be able to see what I describe. In this photo, the penthouses are one deck below the Terrace restaurant (where the closed orange umbrellas are), and to the left (towards the front of the ship). Each Penthouse veranda runs for the length of three railing segments (about 18 feet ish), whereas the standard veranda cabins run for 2 railing segments (or 12 feet -ish). Excepting the wider ones down on deck 7, I would say that the typical veranda on the side of the ship is 6 to 8 feet deep. Hope this gives you a better perspective :D

Mura Posted October 6, 2011 #5 Share Posted October 6, 2011 It just occurred to me that maybe I should have asked whether you were asking about the "R" ships or the Marina class ship -- I was answering about the "R" ships (Regatta, Insignia, Nautica).
