Travel documents for 10 year old....

I was told by Carnival that we do not need a passport for the cruise that we are taking in November because the law that requires them does not go into effect until December of 2005. I was told that I need a copy of my divorce decree or something that shows that I have sole physical custody and a legal copy of his birth certificate. For the adults, we were told that we need a picture i.d. and a legal copy of our birth certificates. Hope this helps.

To follow up - we just returned from a wonderful week aboard the Grand Princess out of Galveston. I am happy to report that no one requested picture IDs for our kids. Their certified birth certificates were all that was necessary - no questions asked.
