Anchorage - Reasonable walk to train station from what hotels?

mandrews, I just re-read your post. Why don't you look at aaa.com at the Anchorage Clarion Suites, it was 3rd down on the list. It is a 4*, and we are paying 87.75 USD on May 19th. It has a gym with a HEATED POOL & WHIRLPOOL that will feel awfully good after a long day flying in from Florida. Of course, I realize July is a lot more expensive, but give it a shot and see. I would if I were you for the hot soak alone on those tight muscles.

 

Never mind - I just checked, the rate in July is $158.
