Buying drinks at Port Canaveral

Hi,

 

My husband and I will be first-time cruisers on the Mariner of the Seas in January of 2006, leaving from Port Canaveral. Everyone seems to recommend buying soda to bring on board and keep in our cabin. We're planning to buy transfers to get from the airport in Orlando to the port. Is there somewhere we can buy drinks near the pier? If not, I guess we'll have to buy drinks at the airport and bring them with us (since we're obviously not going to bring 12-packs of soda on our flight with us).

If you are a soda junkie, yes. Personally, we can go weeks between sodas.

Wouldn't that be at a price similar to the cost on board? And, if you do consume a lot of soda maybe the soda card would be your best bet at that point.
