RuthlessBoss Posted October 15, 2011 #26 Share Posted October 15, 2011 I dislike the Bingo prices for what little play you get! And this is just so they can brag about big payoffs, How about a dedicated spot for playing Bingo in a normal way that actually lasts a while? jtdlmc Posted October 15, 2011 #28 Share Posted October 15, 2011 More anytime dining spots - If I didn't get anytime dining, I would not book my cruise with Carnival - yes, it is that important to me!!!

scgamecock Posted October 15, 2011 #30 Share Posted October 15, 2011 1) Chair hogs 2) No American ESPN or CBS (Real ESPN has football, not cricket playing) 3) Hot tubs should be open until late, they should keep the kids out of them and there's not enough of them
SkyMaster Posted October 15, 2011 #31 Share Posted October 15, 2011 Most of the music venues turn the volume up WAY too loud! Kids in the adult areas,,,especially the adult hot tubs. Big screen around the main pool (on the ships that have 'em) are WAY too loud! Tables and tables of junk watches and jewelery in the passageways, so you can hardly get through. "SKY"
pbxtech Posted October 15, 2011 #32 Share Posted October 15, 2011 Two big complaints...........1) They always insist I get off the ship at the end of the cruise 2) That I am not on one right now ;) I totally agree
golfb4cruzing Posted October 15, 2011 #33 Share Posted October 15, 2011 1. Carnival Airways. Cruiseline owned aircraft in large hubs. 2. Decent photo prices. They take great pics but I still got a mortgage. 3. Homeport on the Great Lakes (Cleveland is centralized).
Waterloomarc Posted October 15, 2011 #34 Share Posted October 15, 2011 Definitely the music/big screen by the pool is WAAAAYYYY too loud. Seriously it's rediculous. I'm on 32 it's not like I don't listen to my share of loud music. It it's just flat out silly how loud it is. 2. Yep way too cold in of the lounges. SadieN Posted October 15, 2011 #35 Share Posted October 15, 2011 Just one-- Being able to group your pix til the end of the cruise then choose what to buy. HAL does this why can't Carnival?
Kaboochi Posted October 15, 2011 #36 Share Posted October 15, 2011 I love to cruise and the little pesky things don't bother me at all. I just ignore what I don't like.:D
sloepoke Posted October 15, 2011 #37 Share Posted October 15, 2011 2) No American ESPN or CBS (Real ESPN has football, not cricket playing) how did i miss cricket on telly last cuise i took? usually i have radar for that ... now you've got me hopeful for my next! 3. Homeport on the Great Lakes (Cleveland is centralized). i'm trying to imagine ... a 12-dayCariibean cruise, with 11 sea days, after all the travel from Cleveland. I think I'll stick with FLL/MIA etc ... :p
babebutters Posted October 15, 2011 #38 Share Posted October 15, 2011 1. I wish they had more alternative dining options. Love the steakhouses, but I'd love more choices. 2. I'd love coffee makers on the room to those looking for more vegetarian options, you can request Vegetarian meals or Indian Vegetarian meals. Check out the website. The Indian meals are excellent. Much of the kitchen staff is Indian, so it's authentic and delicious. Kathryn
skye02 Posted October 15, 2011 #39 Share Posted October 15, 2011 1. I don't care for the pushy "extras" - photos, bingo, etc. 2. PVP's & 1-800-carnival staff simply can not give accurate or consistent answers to ANY question I've ever posed to them 3. Limited free beverages
carbreylynn Posted October 15, 2011 #40 Share Posted October 15, 2011 Here are my 3 things I don't like about Carnival cruises. 1) It's taking too long to get to my cruise, I wish they would shorten the year. 2) They haven't yet called me for a free cabin upgrade! What, do i have to have the cabin I already chose?!? 3) They need a better jingle or something so I can be humming it abesnt-mindedly while I'm at work. Oh, as for the OP's 3rd, I can sleep through severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, and earthquakes. I don't think roudy partiers will be a problem.:D Weird we have the EXACT same complaints. nhraformula00 Posted October 15, 2011 #43 Share Posted October 15, 2011 #1. Hot tubs that are hot. #2. Past guest parties for maybe (5 or more cruises) that include something a little nice than finger sandwiches, and the waiters not taking so much time with the drinks, so that you might get more than one would be nice. #3.Better tasting coffee on the lido deck in the morning. Kathryn oh, I agree the Indian's a good choice ... but other than chana masala, the only other protein-based veggie dinner on the MDR menu is the tofu steak. I'll definitely have the indian veg the night they serve the courgette monstrosity/parmagiana. :)
scchasgal Posted October 16, 2011 #45 Share Posted October 16, 2011 I wish Carnival would: Enforce their own rules eg kids in hot tubs, adult areas, chair hogs Offer perks to suite passengers like other lines
CanWeGoYet? Posted October 16, 2011 #46 Share Posted October 16, 2011 The music on the lido deck, a steel drum band playing live for caribbean cruises would add so much. That or just knock off the hyper announcements & piped in music if a steel drum band is out of the question. Quiet is nice, nothing better than just hearing the ocean instead of sensory overload. More non-carby choices for breakfast room service. Stretching & gym type classes throughout the day. I want to stay active on a cruise but not if it means a 7AM class. I'm on vacation! & my number one complaint, they make me leave at the end of the cruise!
mavis2222 Posted October 16, 2011 #47 Share Posted October 16, 2011 The reason Carnival dosent do some of things the other lines have is your paying a cheaper price... You get what you pay for.. Including the roudy riff raff. Carnival is the "Wall-Mart" and "K- Mart" of cruise ships. And because of that you get that class of people, expecially on the shorter cruises.
