I am happy/unhappy to say I reached my 1500 points (over 3000 actually:eek:) on our cruise last week. My question is, do these points carry over to our next cruise or do I start over at 0? Do you have to earn 1500 on each cruise to start receiving drinks or will I be able to receive them on my first day on the next cruise?

Mine have never carried over but I did get a nice offer from CPC for another cruise with a little free play.

Not sure what the actual equivelancy is to a dollar but I ended with over 3000 points and DH over 2000 points playing slots. We spent $1100 in the casino on a 4 nighter :eek:. Pretty good though we only went $100 over our planned casino money.

I asked one of the casino guru's how the points were earned and he told me it depends in part on which denomination slot one is playing. You earn more points faster if you're playing say, a dollar slot as opposed to a penny slot machine. After a couple of days, I found myself agreeing with him. I was playing quarter and dollar slots and my wife was playing the penny slots. At the end of two days, I was already at my 1500 points. She was at about 800 points and she was spending almost as much money as I was.

So does anybody know if I take another cruise within 2 years if my points will still be over 3000 or will they restart at 0??

They reset to 0.

The points do not carry over from cruise to cruise. If you have contacted the Carnival Players Club and let them know when you will be cruising next they will give you some complementary items (casino cash, fruit basket, chocolate strawberries....) based on your level of slot play on your most recent cruise. You need to have your past booking information for them to look it up.

 

Generally a point is equal to $2.50 coin in. That included the cash that you are putting in the machine to play with and any credits that you are winning and playing back in.

 

Not all ships have the On Us program. I know that the Ecstasy did not, I'm surprised that the Imagination 4 day did.

 

I was on the Ecstasy in early February and played up to around 4000+ points and then I was on the Glory at the end of February and as a comp perk got the On Us card on embarkation day as soon as I introduced myself to the Casino Host. But I had written a nice email about my great experience on the Ecstasy and was looking forward to another great week on the Glory, so maybe that's what did it.
