ellenstarr Posted November 13, 2011 #52 Share Posted November 13, 2011 These sound delightful!!! I don't know how I will choose between the items for appetizer and entree. Can I order more than one? LOL You can order one of everything if you want! And you can skip courses if nothing looks good. I don't think there was a night on either of my past cruises that I didn't order 2 desserts. Hey, they're small!
Beej29 Posted November 13, 2011 #53 Share Posted November 13, 2011 Thanks so much for posting. What a lot of work for you. I will be on the Emerald for the New Year's cruise so I imagine the menus will be the same except for New Year's Eve. Everything sounds so good. I don't eat red meat or dairy, but do eat fish so I see plenty of things to be eating every night for dinner without compromising health (except for desserts). Looking so forward to not having to cook and being served.

OnVacation11 Posted November 14, 2011 #58 Share Posted November 14, 2011 Thanks for the dessert menus ! If you tried any of the souffles', how were they? On the Crown in June they were flat and very dry... I am hoping for better quality on the Emerald since they are my favorite Princess dessert and I look forward to them on each cruise. crusinpeg Posted November 18, 2011 #62 Share Posted November 18, 2011 We just got off the Emerald last month and some of the menus and items are a little diferent...the one thing we missed was the rack of lamb..they now have a trilogy of meat..which includes a chicken kabob, breast of veal, and only one lamb chop. gracie65 Posted January 6, 2012 #64 Share Posted January 6, 2012 Thanks for posting!!! How many night sailing was The Emerald? I think it may have been a 10??? Just wondering if it's a 7 night sailing if the Captains Gala Dinner takes the place of what would be on night 6, which if I was counting correctly would have been The Princess Dinner? Terry in NJ Posted January 21, 2012 #69 Share Posted January 21, 2012 Does anyone know which menus are eliminated for a 7 night cruise? I know Sailaway and Landfall remain. Captain's Welcome and Captain's Gala are formal nights, correct? I know Caribbean stays as well. So that's 5 of them.... Please say Italian and French stay! Thanks so much! gsmiles4u Posted January 21, 2012 #70 Share Posted January 21, 2012 I think there's always an Italian night on the 7-day cruises. There was the last two years on my 7-days. I don't remember a French night, however.
