I am trying to decide between a BB forward cabin #10506 and a mid ship cabin # 10046 The 10506 is in purple on deck plans and 10046 is in pink and that cabin says 10046+ so not sure what that means. Is one cabin bigger than the other, are balcony size the same? Is one a better choice? Thank you This is my first time on NCL Thank you

The + means that cabin holds 4 people. You can find the key at the bottom of the page under the deck plan. These cabins will be very similar. Personally, I would go by price because they are nearly identical. If they are priced the same, I would take 10046 because it is a little closer to the elevators and a little closer to the middle of the ship.

No difference in cabins or balconies. Color just designates whether it's a "mid ship" balcony or just balcony, usually a small price difference. Actually, and I'd have to look at an external pic of the Pearl, that very front forward cabin may have a partially enclosed balcony due to the ship design. Also, forward will give you more motion if the seas become heavy.

I just looked at some pictures of the Pearl. It does appear that the last four deck ten cabins forward do have a partially enclosed balcony.

10506 may feel more "enclosed." It's behind an owners suite and one deck below and behind the bridge which juts out and would shade / shadow the balcony. From the balcony you'll not get as much of a 180 view feeling. I'd go with 10046. INSIDE they will be identical. If you go to any of the pix sharing sites like webshots or picassa and seach "Norwegian Pearl," you will find 100's of pictures.

Thank you SO much I know nothing about this. I appreciate your help.

Do you have a link where I can see that room from the outside?

10506 will have a balcony with a smaller outside opening and a steel bulkhead at the outside instead of a glass partition.

See the photo below...I think that this cabins will be the third "hole" from the front on deck 10 (one deck below the navigation bridge). The "regular balcony" cabins are shown further back on that deck..you can see the difference in the size of the opening. Some like the protection that this rigid opening provides; others don't like the more-restricted view.

BTW, the "bridge" is the dark glass area that appears to stick out above those openings.
