Drink prices?

We will be in Grand Cayman in January. We were wondering how much it costs for a drink there? I know there is a Margaritaville. How much does a beer or a margarita cost there? Does anyone know of a nice place that has good prices on drinks/beers?

It has been a while since I have been there, but Grand Cayman is known for buying duty free, but the drink prices are high. Around the $10 range or more compared with the prices in Mexico which are under $5.

Drinks can be cheaper on the ship.:mad: Rum is always reasonable, stop at a liquor store and buy some rum & cokes.:D

Yes, you are looking at anywhere from $7 at the cheapest places to about $15 and up. It's not a cheap place to drink. Margaritaville is definitely worth a drop in especially later in the day when the celebrations start to emerge. Just don't miss the ship.

at a local shop. Island prices are very high except in the DF stores and they deliver to the ship. Cokes aren't cheap either. No local shops near the pier.
