CarolRoy Posted October 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 19, 2011 Looking at a cruise from Miami. Does anyone know what Carnival charges for a RT transfer from MIA to Port then Port to MIA? I see that taxis charge $24 one way. Thanks for your help. Capt_BJ Posted October 19, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 19, 2011 that taxi is per car ... so if you are two or three, do the math . . .
eandj Posted October 19, 2011 #4 Share Posted October 19, 2011 And the savings in money isn't all. You can hop a cab and be on the ship in minutes. :D With those dang shuttle buses you will wait and wait till everyone has arrvied in MIA and left their plane, retrieved their bags, loaded their bags on the bus...unloaded the bags at the ship etc. TOTAL waste of time. TAKE A CAB !!!!!!!
corkyanige Posted October 20, 2011 #5 Share Posted October 20, 2011 We have 12 people in our group... What are the chances we can get 2 mini-van type cabs after disembarking the ship?
eandj Posted October 20, 2011 #6 Share Posted October 20, 2011 Very good and simple. Depending on the amount of luggage, you might need three however. There will be a line of cabs when you disembark. Let the person in charge of loading the cabs know you would like the bigger van type. You might have to wait a few minutes longer and not all get to the airport at the same time, but it will work for you. Definitely a much cheaper way of doing the ride compared to per person rates of a shuttle. ;)
