Venice travelers: Need Alilguna help ASAP!

I will post this on my Roll Call and the Ports section also:

We are leaving Saturday for our Venice-TA cruise. I have debated between Vaporetto and Alilguna to bring us from the airport to our hotel; due to advice from CC I have decided to use Alilguna. I have a couple of questions that remain unanswered and I am hoping someone will be able to help.

1. If we are going from the airport to our hotel (Blue Line) and a few days later, the hotel to the port, should that be a "round trip" ticket? (I want to buy the tickets online.)

2. I seem to recall the trip from the airport takes more than one hour; are there any bathrooms on board?

Thank you so much!

According to the on-line schedule, it looks like the blue line is about a 1 hour and 45 minute ride from the airport to the cruise port. Depending on your hotel location, you will have to figure out how much more or less than an hour your trip would be.

I don't remember seeing any bathrooms on the boats, although I didn't look for one either.

Getting a round trip airport ticket might not work since, from your hotel, the cruise port is in the opposite direction as the airport. But, then again, they might not mind as long as you have some sort of ticket. It looks like it would actually be cheaper to buy a one-way ticket from the airport and then a one-way ticket to the cruise port. But, I assume you want to buy tickets on-line not to save money but to use a credit card and save time versus having to pay cash in Euros at the dock for the boat.

Also, keep in mind that it is either a long walk, or an extra cost van ride to get from the airport baggage claim out to the Alilaguna dock (if I remember correctly).

Round trip will only work by going back to source of journey i.e. airport. Best to simply get one way tickets, the cost is not much different e.g. 13 euros one way or 24/25 return.

No bathrooms, but facilities at airport. Incidentally the walk from airport to Alilaguna dock is, depending on walk speed, 5-10 minutes flat walkway.
