Thank you very much for your well wishes. Storms that come from the West are always a concern for us, especially since Wilma in 2005 that flooded all our homes and cars. To make matters worse, we are already supposed to have unusually high tides this weekend.

 

Hopefully this storm will stay south and have minimal impact. A shift closer to us could be a nightmare. There is supposed to be 70,000 tourists in town this weekend due to Fantasy Fest. An evacuation will be a real problem.

AFTER we booked we found out that we would be a week late for Fantasy Fest. Oh well, guess it gives us an excuse to come back another time.

 

Please make sure you keep us updated, as I never believe half of what is on the news. Been watching some webcams Key West, Cozumel and Cancun. So far not to bad, lets just hope it decreases in strengh

Fantastic news. The storm track completely changed and is not currently forecasted to come anywhere near us. I've never been so happy to see a cold front coming down from the north. :D
