luv2go1 Posted October 27, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2011 We are taking our first cruise from Sunday, March 4 through Sunday, March 11. We would be flying from Milwaukee to Orlando, coming down a day early, so flying from Milwaukee to Orlando on Saturday, March 3. We haven't flown in a few years, so I've been trying to determine what a reasonable flight would cost. I've found Airtran on 3-3-12 for $262 for two people but the best I've found for Sunday is Southwest for $427 for two people. Should I go ahead and book both, wait on both, or just book the Airtran for 3-3-12 and wait on the return? Any advice is appreciated. THANKS!! 6rugrats Posted October 27, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2011 You can book RT on AirTran now for your dates, MKE-MCO, depart 03/03/12, return 03/11/12 for $330. These are both nonstop flights. The return flight may be too early for you, but I don't know when your ship docks.
luv2go1 Posted October 27, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted October 27, 2011 Do you think we're safe taking that early of a flight? We have to get from Port Canaveral to Orlando.
6rugrats Posted October 27, 2011 #4 Share Posted October 27, 2011 It takes about an hour. When does your ship dock?

D4 Posted October 28, 2011 #6 Share Posted October 28, 2011 You're going during Spring Break season to a popular location so expect higher airfares, crowded flights, and a lot of kids (all ages) on your ship.
