Airfare advice

We are taking our first cruise from Sunday, March 4 through Sunday, March 11. We would be flying from Milwaukee to Orlando, coming down a day early, so flying from Milwaukee to Orlando on Saturday, March 3. We haven't flown in a few years, so I've been trying to determine what a reasonable flight would cost. I've found Airtran on 3-3-12 for $262 for two people but the best I've found for Sunday is Southwest for $427 for two people. Should I go ahead and book both, wait on both, or just book the Airtran for 3-3-12 and wait on the return? Any advice is appreciated. THANKS!!
