Spaces between Promenade rooms on Mariner

Recommended Posts

Hi all! I just booked a sailing on Mariner of the seas, and we are in PR 6297. I purposely got that cabin because it only has one other cabin next to it - on the other side, there is a blank space on the deck plans. I've been on Mariner before, but I can't remember what that space is...I was thinking it was a small hallway with an open overlook over the promenade, but now I'm wondering if I was right. I want to be sure I'm not putting us right next to a service door!

Any help will be appreciated!

Part of that space too is a fire barrier. Note that across the hallway between 6300 and 6298 there is a small gap. This denotes a structural wall rather than the thinner cabin walls and there should be a retracted fire door there somewhere like a pocket slider door - probably adjacent to the 6301 side of the storage room. You'll see the fire barriers every 15-20 cabins or so but on the interior side of the hallways there is always a service space or public space so seems to me that is where the firedoor is stowed.
