Time to kill in Galveston

On our return to Galveston on Mar. 4, '12, our flight out will not be until 3:35 PM. Any suggestions of what to do until then? We will be taking Galveston Limo back to Hobby.

By the time you get off the ship and the time to get back to Hobby you will not have a great deal of time so I would suggest walking around the Strand area which is across the street from the cruise ship terminal. Although I am not sure where you could store your luggage while you did this.

I really should have asked if there was somewhere to store luggage as that was my real concern. Walking around the Strand would be good but not toting luggage! Turns out we'd have to take the 10 AM shuttle, so this is a moot point now!
