New cruiser, somewhat of a Vegas gambler

I've read that I can use my Club Grazie card from Venetian/Palazzo on Carnival. Is that still the case?

 

Has anyone ever called Ocean Players Club before a cruise and asked if you are eligible for any comps based on your past Vegas play? Or have you ever asked a Vegas casino host to contact his/her counterpart at OPC on your behalf? I have not cruised Carnival before, so I have not been rated in its casinos. I will be in Vegas a few weeks before my cruise and would like to take advantage of any benefits of my Vegas play on the ship, if possible.

 

What information do you give them when you call? Your booking number and Club Grazie card number?

Your Play in Vegas WONT Matter on Carnival at all....

 

The Only Cruise Line that I know that has anything to do with a Land Based Casino is NCL.....There you can get Deals on your cruise depending on your Level of play at Harrahs....

 

Last year We even got a Free Cruise from Harrahs/NCL.....

 

Once your Established on Any Cruise Line in the Casino, They will take care of you on your Next Cruise with Discounts, Perks, ETC...

 

On Princess were leaving on Nov 9th to Hawaii and I called the Players Club and I get $250.00 CASH in the Casino when I get there...:D

 

Not Bad as it will Pay for 4 of My Buy-Ins at the Poker Tournaments...

I read on cruise critic some time ago, that at one time the Venetian did have a promotion going with Carnival where your play on Carnival earned points for the Venetian but the last few posts on it said that is no longer the case.

During the summer of 2010 I was comped 3 nights at The Venetian/The Palazzo plus some free slot play for my play on a Carnival ship. I don't know if Carnival and V/P still have an association.
