Airport luggage check in SJU

Does anyone know If Celebrity has the option to check your luggage through from the ship to your final destination? I know RCCL used to offer that service in SJU but discontinued it a few years ago.

I was on Celeb Summit last year. We were expecting to use this service, based on what I read online. When I got on the ship, they assured me that this service is usually available (small fee), but was not for our sailing bc the machine was broken. We ended up walking off the ship with our luggage, and went with one of the many tour busses, that gave us a tour for a few hrs, with the luggage on the bus, and a ride to the airport. Don't know the price off hand, but remember it being very reasonable.

 

So I guess the short answer is I think yes it was, as of last year, but go with a back up plan, just in case.

Others have reported the service is not available right now. Some issues with the previous contractor have been cited.
