We have just got our cabin Baja Deck B309. Has anyone had this cabin or one like it? Any info please

Almost all cabins on Princess are the same within a type. You have a standard oceanview cabin with a small balcony. It's about 9'x5' and has two chairs and a small table. You're below another deck of passenger cabins so you shouldn't have noise from above. Passengers on Caribe and Dolphin deck balconies can look up and into your balcony due to the tiered ship design so it's not particularly private. The balcony is covered but because it's not very deep, there's little sun or weather protection.

I just spent 10 days in B714. We enjoyed Baja deck and did not feel like people were looking up at us. If anything, I felt we had greater privacy because the balconies above us had the same view below as we did, of Caribe and Dolphin decks.

 

A balcony is great to have, at all times of the day.

The upside of a shallower balcony is that your cabin gets more light, which I really prefer. And while it is true that people on Caribe & Dolphin deck can turn around & look up at you, it just doesn't seem to happen all that often. Just our experience.

We just booked the same cabin. I saw there is elevator and stair close to the room. Just worry that if there is noise from that.

In our experience on other ships, noise is not bad as long as you are a couple of cabins over from the elevators. Overall I think it should be ok, easy access to forward stairs and elevators, but not right on top of them.
