Carafes of wine in Celebrity restaurants

Does anyone know if Celebrity Cruises serve carafes of wine in the restaurant at dinner and, if so, what they cost ?

I've seen small carafes (2 or 3 glasses of wine) at the outdoor bars, or at least at the aft bars but never in the dining rooms.

 

I don't remember the cost of the carafes at the bar - sorry, but they were not expensive. I'd guess around $10 or so.

 

Wines on the dining room list start at around $25/bottle or $6/glass and go up from there.

Can confirm they were available at lunchtime for $10 including the service charge and were very nice

They are smaller than what most of us are use to at your local restaurants. Around here for house wine, 1 liter and half liter carafes are the norm. These are only .375 or a half bottle. (12.6 ounces)

Keep in mind that they might not have this in the MDR at dinner time, but the wines on the wine list start around $25, some varieties a couple dollars lower. So that is just a couple dollars more for a "half bottle". It is true you can not buy a half bottle of wine at the MDR but you can drink half a bottle one night and ask them to cork the wine and save it for you another night. They do that all the time.

Hi,

On the Eclipse 355ml carafes were available in the Oceanview Cafe but not in MDR. Choice was an Italian Pinot Grigio, Spanish Tempranillo & a French Rose. Cost was $11.50 including 15%.

 

Those wines were also available by the glass at around $6.5.
