rotaryscotty Posted November 12, 2011 #10 Share Posted November 12, 2011 All I know is the wine I buy at home for $5 on sale is $25 onboard ...sigh Jan As a former wine store owner wine markup is always difficult to justify, particularly if it's 3 times retail or more. If you take your wine to the main dining room you can add the $15 corkage, which would now make your $5 purchase a little closer to ship price. One suggested way to beat this is to purchase your own wines, then both you and your spouse take a glass of wine with you to dinner...no corkage fee. Also remember, not only are you "allowed" one bottle per person at embarkation, but also 1 bottle per person at each port stop.
