Star Princess to be on Travel Channel

We've are eagerly anticipating our first trip on the Star Princess. I was overjoyed to see that the ship will be featured on the Travel Channel at 10 am on Thursday, April 14.

VCR..??.............who has a VCR anymore? Isn't it TIVO now?....:D This is a repeat from a couple of years ago. We watched it just before our first cruise, which was on the Star. It was so much fun seeing this beautiful ship, knowing we would soon be sailing her. Watch it if you possibly can, have someone tape it for you.

THanks for the info. I plan to tape if to show to my parents when they visit in May. We will be on the Star in January with my brother and SIL and parents. Between the 3 couples, we have almost 120 yrs of marriage! It should be a blast!:D

Just a quick reminder... the Travel Channel show on the Star Princess airs at 10:00 AM EDT tomorrow morning, April 14.

 

...and my wife and I'll be boarding the Star this Sunday. :D

Yes, the show was on the Travel Channel about 1 1/2 weeks ago also, it was very enjoyable. Spent a lot of time with the culinary experience.

I have not seen the show, but have first hand experience , sailing on her last year Grand Med from Barcelona to Venice. What a ship! Wow. Grand class ships are my favorite. Love the design, decor, colors, layout. Grand cruising experience.

Thanks for the heads up Tandemtourer! We too were on the Star for the Grand Med cruise last year. What a wonderful ship!! Can't wait to see the program.

I live in Lakewood, in those houses perched on the side of Green Mountain. My brother lives in Arvada. Since you grew up in N. Denver did you attend North H.S.? Small world isn't it!

I was on the Star and on my first Princess cruise when this was filmed April of 2002. In fact my sister and a friend are briefly on the show when they filmed the Island deck party.

 

The Star is my all time favorite ship having sailed her 4 times and looking forward to the 5th this New Years!!!

I so glad to hear that you liked the ship. She must have been almost practically new when you first sailed. We board for our first cruise in less than two weeks!
