renting car in Ketchikan - Where should I go?

I have been thinking about renting a car in Ketchikan while we are there. Does anyone have any suggestions where to go? Can anyone recommend a good car rental agency. I have looked at akcarrentel that BQ suggested on another post but not any others.

Budget is the only other car rental agency. Ketchikan isn't much of a place to rent, IMO - there's way more to do in town than outside it (and there are few miles of roads anyway).

I agree, plenty is available within walking distance, enough to fill a day certainly. I rent a car and go to Ward Lake and do hiking- Preserverance trail, with a stop at Totem Bight and a drive to the end of the road.

well perhaps we won't rent a car and just do the walking tour instead. So many decisions.
