Sewerage Smell on Freedom Main Deck

We were on the Freedom two weeks ago and there was a horrible sewerage smell in the hallway of the Main Deck from the 3rd day through the end of the cruise. It was gross. The cabin stewards kept spraying air freshner in the hallway...it didn't help...just made it smell like flowery sewerage. Luckily our stateroom didn't stink (2319).

Sorry that someone clog the sewer system by flushing something that should not be flushed.

 

A ships sewer system is very very complex due to the vacuum system that they used, thus there is no quick fix if someone flushed something and it ends up clogging various pipes

there's usually one spot during the week we get a whiff of something.

 

i don't think anyone can hold it for too long a period of time.
