Does anyone know if Princess is using top sheets now? On our last cruise we did not have one just the comforter/blanket.

There's a duvet on the bed. You can always request a top sheet.

We asked our steward for a top sheet, and it was there when we went to bed.

We always request a top sheet immediately and it appears while we are at dinner.

We had our TA request an egg crate and a top sheet for our up coming cruise and The Princess Rep she spoke with had no idea what a top sheet was. I guess we will just ask our room steward when we get there. :cool:

Yeah. Don't sweat it. These are common requests and your steward won't have any problem filling them.

 

Most Princess reps have never been on a cruise and if they go on Princess, they still have to pay for it. It's not a freebee. So, they probably don't know that the beds are made up with just a duvet. :)

We traveled a lot for work for several years, 100 plus hotel nights annually.

 

We got in the habit of bringing a "bed bag" which has our egg crate pad, our mattress pad, two favorite pillows, an 800 thread count top sheet and thermal blanket. We also include a white noise/cooling fan and extension cord. We bragged we could make a bed out of a concrete picnic table if need be.

 

We don't fly to cruises or that would be really hard, the bag is a very large duffel and would cost an ugly penny to check but we do bring it on cruises to this day and it makes for a very nice nights sleep (with bonus naps).

 

The point of the above is that you can bring a sheet you know you like.
