Louand66 Posted November 27, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 27, 2011 Can you take any wine on board with you on the cruise. If so how much. Many thanks
CASPALL Posted November 27, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 27, 2011 Lots and lots - as long as you haven't been drinking too much of it before you go on board! :) P&O are very reasonable. Caryl
JOJAMES Posted November 29, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 29, 2011 Hi So you can go into port and bring drink back on the ship? I thought this was not allowed and you would be searhed as you returned to the ship?
Vampire Parrot Posted November 29, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 29, 2011 In general, P&O are fine with you taking a reasonable amount of wine back on board. VP
LibraLass41 Posted November 29, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 29, 2011 Depends what is meant by 'lots and lots' if by that you mean a 12 bottle case of wine I don't know if they would allow that much? If you take a modest amount for -incabin drinking, say, only a couple of bottles in your hand luggage (or one 3l wine box as I do, in a handy unbreakable compact box) then thats ok, and if you wanted to bring on a bottle or 2 at port thats oK ...but I wouldn't personally go OTT and push it too far. Has anyone done that then?
blitznbobs Posted November 30, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 30, 2011 If sailing out of So'Ton my hubby takes a case plus a couple of bottles of pop... He's a bit of a wine snob and pays corkage every night.., I'm tee total so it's all lost on me!
