coka Posted November 28, 2011 #51 Share Posted November 28, 2011 I was referring to Platinum. A free dinner for two with wine at the bistro and the free laundry bag. Do not forget the complimentary behind the scenes tour;) coka
SuiteRose Posted November 28, 2011 #52 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Not really...the benefits are better in a suite...The suite cocktail party is a different party than the silver/gold/platinum cocktail party. The suite disembarkation is different than the priority disembarkation as latitudes member. If you travel in a suite as a gold member...you get the best of both. I hope this is helpful... coka Thanks Coka!:)
soazlaney Posted November 28, 2011 #53 Share Posted November 28, 2011 We completed our 5th cruise in Sept. so should go from Bronze to Silver. Today we are listed as gold and our on board credit for our upcoming cruise went up by $150. I think the on board credit increase is for the change from Bronze to Silver. Four of our five cruises have been in suites. 4 were 7 day, 1- 14 day.
khall Posted November 28, 2011 #54 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Went from silver to gold, would have been gold after next cruise. 8 cruises: Five 7 day (2 suites) One 9 day (suite) One 4 day One 3 day Seems like maybe suites aren't coming into play, maybe just the length of the cruise? sjbdtz Posted November 28, 2011 #58 Share Posted November 28, 2011 ... plus maybe a CC +1 tier-level bonus? ( tongue firmly in cheek ) :D . Maybe NCL is giving credits for positive posts on CC !!! That's what I was suggesting. :)

leekel619 Posted November 28, 2011 #60 Share Posted November 28, 2011 DH and I are both showing Gold now too. We should be Silver until after this next cruise. BTW, I had two accounts merged a couple months ago. Then I couldn't log on to MyNCL and I called and they fixed it right away. 1-866-625-1160
medicalma'am Posted November 28, 2011 #61 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Well, I am Bronze and would be Silver after our next (already booked suite) cruise. I checked and we are listed as Silver. Couldn't be happier!
tdcjerry Posted November 28, 2011 #62 Share Posted November 28, 2011 I would like to know what they did to give away so many Latitude upgrades, we just became Gold and now are Platinum. It has been posted ( by some ) that Platinum members could stay in a cabin like a inside or balcony and get VIP status to eat at Cagneys for breakfast and lunch, like all the suite passengers, I guess now that won't work with all the new Platinums. pabi Posted November 28, 2011 #63 Share Posted November 28, 2011 I believe that cruising on suites DOES make a difference as well as number of cruise days. That is the way that RCCL went about a year or so ago....it seems NCL is following the same "steps".
NW Pacific Posted November 28, 2011 #64 Share Posted November 28, 2011 I really appreciated looking at our new Platinum level, but don't think it will last- ( do think with our penthouse suites on a 13 and 14 day cruise; plus 3, 7 day we shoud get a bump up, but not counting on it, darn it!) Will give me somthing to do in the next few ays, looking to see if we won a little extra on our Jan cruise!!

cassie55 Posted November 28, 2011 Author #70 Share Posted November 28, 2011 The UK site does not seem to have a facility to log in to my Latitudes membership at the moment. You need to do it via the US website https://www2.ncl.com/login Don't go to NCL.com as it'll redirect you to .co.uk (which is a whole other issue ;))
Sunkissed Mommy Posted November 28, 2011 #71 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Still Bronze, I can't expect any different. I've only been on the Sky 3-day. Will be enjoying the Epic in March though :)

Went from Silver to Gold. 6 total cruises 5 cruises were 7 nights 1 cruise was 14 nights Will be sailing on a 7 night cruise in under two weeks. Total days: 49 + 7 = 56 days. ricruise Posted November 28, 2011 #73 Share Posted November 28, 2011 I just checked too and have been upgraded from gold to platinum also!!! Do we yet know if this is true or some kind of mistake? We have done unites for three of the 11 cruises so maybe they have credited suites more??? I really hope this is not a mistake:)

Do we yet know if this is true or some kind of mistake? We have done unites for three of the 11 cruises so maybe they have credited suites more??? I really hope this is not a mistake:) I think (hope) it's real because some have gone up and some haven't. Those that went up have had longer cruises and/or cruised in suites. Others seem to have stayed put.
