pre cruise Orlando & shuttle to Port Canaveral

Hi. We are taking our 4th cruise in as many years but we have never flown into Orlando and had to shuttle to Port Canaveral. We will be with another family and a total of 4 kids (aged 6-8). Any suggestions on good hotels with pool or beach access? Also, looking for a reputable company to shuttle us to and from the port. Any help would really be appreciated. There are just too many options to look at. Thanks in advance.

one way car rentals. most of the agencies (budget, avis) have locations right near the port with free shuttle service to and from the port.

We stayed in crowne plaza universal hotel was lovely, 145 dollars to port we had a late flight from Orlando day we left cruise so booked tour which was 56 dollars each and included airport transfers

 

I can't remember how much it cost from airport to crowne plaza think it was 40 dollars

 

We only came off ship 4th dec had a fab time loved it

We stayed at the Radisson and they were fantastic. Free parking during the cruise and free shuttle to and from the port.
