On Rhine getaway - Viking Helvetia right

Sailing toward Braubach for a tour of Marksburg in a bit, were finally able to get on board yesterday, late afternoon in Mainz. The water levels are up and it looks like future departures are a go.

 

Wish we had been on board the entire time but all is fine. The Christmas markets have been fun, a nice evening in Rudescheim last night and looking forward to the rest of the cruise.

Oh, we were on the Nov 20 cruise and missed Rudesheim entirely-----Oh well glad things are getting better.

We're thinking of booking this cruise on Helvetia for next fall, so I'd be interested in your review of the ship and the ports when you return.

Yea, we missed Rudeshiem, would have been nice.

 

 

As for the next post after that one, I would recommend the Helvetia and her crew. The four nights we had on board were excellant. Our trip went south when we had to leave the boat.
