Week Tropique in June??

Hi,

 

Thinking of booking on this cruise to Whitsundays and Cairns in June. Is the weather still warm enough then??? Is it a worthwhile cruise to do?? Have only ever cruised to South Pacific and New Zealand. Any info from past cruisers would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

I would need to know where you live. North Queensland in July would be too cold for me to swim, but if you are from Victoria you will love it.

 

Is it worthwhile? If you haven't travelled by land to Townsville and Cairns etc. then I would say "Yes, it is worthwhile."

We are from Brisbane so we possibly might find it too cold. Have been to Cairns before but never to Whitsundays.

I have snorkelled in the Whitsundays and off Port Douglas in July while I was wearing a wet suit. Otherwise it would be too cold. Most tourist operators offer wet suits and usually at no extra cost.

There is absolutely plenty to do in Cairns for a day without going swimming.

I'm thinking of doing this one too as the date and the length suit. I'm sure as a Kiwi, I'll find it plenty warm enough. Our seas don't get warm enough for me even in the middle of summer!
