Water, Water Everywhere

Anyone else have the problem and hopefully a solution.

Last year I sailed in a modified room on the Carnival Pride. I had a huge bathroom with a roll in shower but used the shower bench provided. Every morning as I took my shower the water flooded the bathroom. Walking out of the shower was dangerous as water was backed up waiting to drain. Then I could not walk back into the bathroom as the floor was wet. (Had to remember to brush my teeth before showering and moved my make-up ect to the desk area.

I tried everything I could think of--I tried situating the shower curtain in different positions, I used the hand shower and tried to direct the spray towards the drain and I lined the bottom of the curtain with towel rolls.

My cabin stewart would of course clean up the mess and wipe the floor but that was after I dressed and left the room.

I am super excited to have booked my second cruise (Glory modified balcony) but this situation needs to be resolved. Suggestion???

Thanks

Jan

G'Day Jan

I know what you mean we had the same problem. We used a mote with large towels - a second row will help. Ask your room steward to set it up for you on the previous evening. Good Luck Ros
