Thanksgiving cruise

What are people's experiences with the summit out of San Juan on thanksgiving?

We are 2 people celebrating our 20th anniversary but don't want a kid busy cruise. Thx

Any cruise over holidays or common school vacation times will attract a larger than normal number of families traveling with children. If you want to minimize children you need to sail when school is in session as well as shoot for longer itineraries (families more frequently do cruises of seven nights and less).

don't want a kid busy cruise. Stay away from that week. No port of embarkation is going to make a difference, although I have to say Galveston was the worse as far as kids to adult ratio over thanksgiving. I know its a bummer as we have the time that week and really want to cruise:( but the kid thing is impossible to avoid. Wish Celebrity still did "Escapes".
