Switching categories with Celebrity Passages

I have switched from a 1A to a A2, but because I had the three category upgrade could I go to an A1? I paid the difference in fair at the time. Is it possible I would pay the new fair for lowest category and go up?

When I originally booked aqua was only one category.

Thanks for assistance in understanding this.

Phone the Passages Desk at 1-888-727-4906 They are the "go to" people:D

With the Passages Certificate, you do not get the 3 category upgrade. That is only valid if you actually book the exact cruise while still on board. Even in that case, if you switch categories of rooms, you lose the upgrade. However, you will still get the OBC no matter which way you go.

I do agree that if you need assistance, it's best to call Celebrity (or your TA if you used one).

It is best not to call the general Celebrity number - either call the Passages Desk or Captain's Club.

That is an understatement Christine. Looking forward to meeting you,,in 15 months.:)

GHStudio..I didn't know if that applied since they broke it up into categories, thanks for clarifying.

You're right firemanbobswife, I bought both while on my first cruise and I have confused them each step of the way.

15 months!!! I can do that!! We have waited 20 months for our SA cruise that we booked May 2010 on the Murcury:) We love that South Pacific itinerary that's why it is a "do over". See you on board!

We were in 7314. I couldn't believe how much bigger our space was than on the Millie! There are little places to sit an read tucked all over the place. If you like to imbib, make sure you visit Barbara in the Molecular Bar.

We couldn't get into Murano, everyone had made their reservations online before the cruise, so if you are considering Murano, make your reservation now!

We went to the Lawn Club, to loud for us and to long a wait for the food. The service was so, so. So un "Celebrityesque".

The cheapest table at the casino was one $6.00 table. The would not open others even though we were two deep waiting to play.

The ship was stunning and very tastefully decorated for the Holidays. I hope you have a GREAT time!
