Debarking From Epic in ROME

We choose to embark and debark in Rome for our May cruise in Europe. Since the port is quite a distance from the airport, will they let the passengers who need to debark get off first before the one taking tours so that we can meet our early flight ? Any suggestions for shuttles to the airport ?

Nope- if you truely have to be off the ship "first", then self disembark.

Go over to the Italy board on the Europe board, will have plenty of recent transfer information for you. I take the cheap trains. :)

Don't book an early flight.

We sailed out of Rome on Celebrity a couple of years ago and were worried about the same thing. As a result, we booked a late day flight and regretted it. It is not that far to the airport from the port. You will have no problem making your 1 pm flight.

We've also booked on the Epic out of Rome this summer. This time we have an 11:45 am flight.

We used Rome in Limo for our transfers last time and will use them again this cruise. They were fantastic - on time, clean, professional. Highly recommend them.

Hope this helps!

Our flight is at 1:00 P.M but like I said, there is some distance.

You should have plenty of time. I am assuming you are flying out of FCO and not the airport south of Rome.

Another vote for Rome in Limo.
