Caribbean princes?

We are sailing on fen. 12for two weeks on the Caribbean princes (Room756) any body been on her in the last few months and if so what shape is she in ? And how was the service?

Was on Voyage B145 five weeks ago, First cruise!!! My daughter treated me to an early birthday present!

 

I have no other ships to compare my experience but came away feeling very positive about Princess, especially the Caribbean Princess, so much so I hope to take my wife on her in April.

 

My main problem with the room was with the mattresses, they are a bit lumpy and uncomfortable. Our room steward was just great, always around, always smiling, and always ready to ask if we needed anything!

 

Our Cruise Director was Dan Styne, talked to him twice on the cruise and met him again in Old San Juan, after our voyage and he seemed very approachable each time. saw two comedy shows and I enjoyed his warm up.

 

Food! Well I like to eat, (whats my near year resolution again!) The food especially in the buffet could have been better, It was ok, they just need to go a little further to make the buffet dinning an even better experience.

 

The wait staff could not have been any better with there help and level of service.

 

Overall I was very impressed with our voyage, so much that I could not wait to plan another cruise!

 

Go with the right attitude and you will enjoy it! :)

Thanks for the info ,i just got some negative stories about it beeing run down. but sounds good an looking forward to the cruise it's a btb 14 days and i need some warm dry weather .

Was on a Christmas cruise on the Caribbean Princess and everything was great about the ship.

 

You know it was good when the only thing we could find to complain about was a band that played more "listening music" than dance music. :rolleyes:

Heard about the drydock and then heard about carpet and mattress issues. We'll be sailing on her in May and hope she's in good shape (though I'm not too picky). Glad to hear, more than anything, that the crew was great!

The Caribbean Princess is a great ship with a good crew. You'll love it.
