Kamloops50 Posted January 9, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2012 That is what Carnival probably calls Formal Night.
CruiserBruce Posted January 9, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2012 This is best researched on the Carnival board, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
Bonnie J. Posted January 9, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2012 Carnival now calls what used to be formal night 'cruise elegant night. The first one is the 2nd night after the day at sea. The second one is the night before the last night, usually a day at sea. HOWEVER, those who dress formally are few. I have seen shorts and jeans in the main dining room on those nights. Once I counted how many tuxes and there were only 6! WE were formal on our cruise on Carnival to Bermuda. The next week to the Bahamas there were few dressed. (A B2B) My husband wears a better polo shirt and dark dockerswhen he doesn't wear his tux.
