Carry on wine - keeping it cold??

First time poster so bear with me. We plan on bringing one bottle of wine per person on board. I prefer white wine and I like it to be really cold. I know we can get ice from the steward but is there any place to store the wine to keep it cold? We are flying in and I don't really care to bring a rolling cooler as that seems to be too much trouble.

We are cruising on Paradise on Feb 11 (first cruise after dry dock) and from what I have seen there are not fridges in the rooms (we will be in a Porthole room).

Thanks for any help! :)

dont forget there is a size limit on coolers, even rolling coolers of 12 inches x 12 inches x 12 inches. If any dimension is larger, it has a good chance of being confiscated.

You can bring a collaspible cooler in your checked luggage if you feel the need for more than a bucket to put the wine in.

coolers they say cant xray thru them, so they dont allow any but tiny ones.

We had 2 bottles of sparkling wine. Our steward brought a plastic bucket the morning we planned on taking it to the MDR. He iced down the 2 bottles with only part of the bottle-neck sticking out. He also drained the bucket and put in fresh ice before we went to dinner. It was ice cold, tasted great, and our table-mates were pleasantly surprised when we all shared the 2 bottles. Also, I had a big paper bag with the sturdy handles from Carrabba's italian takeout folded in my luggage, the bucket fit perfectly, and walked into the MDR with none the wiser. I offered to pay the corkage fee but my waiter let it slide.
