I was just wondering if anyone knows if they offer tours for those of us who have late flights out of NOLA. I have taken ship based tours after a cruise in Miami as well as hiring a cab to drive us around a while. I hope they offer something in NOLA or we will have a long wait at the airport

I dont know if there is anything thru Carnival, but there are some haunted tours and such you can book on your own. google New Orleans tours.

 

The acquarium is world known, its very nice and close to the port.

Have you considered staying at least one day post your cruise to get an experience of New Orleans. You can take the trolley and "tour" on your own, but it wouldn't be as much fun dragging the luggage

Yes they did offer a tour of NOLA after our cruise last summer. Can't remember the cost though. We got off the ship first, loaded our luggage in the coach and away we went... I think it was about three to four hours. The coach dropped us off at our hotel and then took the rest of the pax to the airport.

a member on my up and coming cruise roll call is from the area and mentioned many things near the port to do.

 

i'd have my bags checked ahead straight to the airport and then venture out on my own.

 

oh, and if nothing else, the casinos are always fun too.:D

We are coming in early and staying 2 days so we will have time to explore a bit.

 

I just dont want to be off the ship and sitting at the airport for 6 hours waiting to fly out. Our flight home will be long with a few lay overs so we will be sick of airports.
