Bad smell in Carnival Destiny

We are planning a cruise on Destiny and some reviewers mentioned a bad smell, like sewage, in many areas. Is this true? Is it in the room too? Any recent cruisers on the Destiny, please help!!

As I said before, I have not been on the Destiny but I have been on ships that had this problem. Both were older ships, and this became noticable toward the last couple of days of the cruise. We never had this problem in our stateroom.

That odor can (and does) happen on EVERY ship at some point in time....it's just the way it is. It's more than possible that you won't notice a thing....but if you do, they do try to correct it!

I'm booked on the Destiny & was a little concerned about that too, but noticed most of them are older reviews. I've read a few recent reviews which were all positive & didn't mention any smell.

 

My suggestion for better feedback would be to ask on the Carnival boards.

Beano works well on these....ahhh...situations that arise..or escape in many cases below deck....;):D

Cabins can have a sewer gas problem. It is easily solved with a coffeepotful of water poured into the floor drains in the water closet.
