Just a heads up... I-10 will be closed all day Sunday on the causeway. Might want to check this out for what to do or adjust time for this.

On Causeway or at Causeway? The Causeway crosses the Lake from Mandeville to Metairie. I-10 has exits for North and South Causeway Blvd. Is it closed where the Causeway exits and overpass is, or is the Causeway over the Lake?

The road closure, according to Nola.com, is I-10 at Causeway Blvd. You will have to detour off the Interstate, at Clearview (eastbound) or Bonnabel (westbound) and take Airline Highway. This construction work is only scheduled for Jan 22.
