Maddycakes Posted January 26, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2012 Hello, I am cruising on the Oasis of the Sea in April. I am looking for a resort not to far from the peer with a nice pool area and beach. I know this sounds silly, but I don't go into the ocean (I have a fear of sharks:o) So it is important to me that the pool area is nice. Additionally, I am traveling with my 6 year old DD, so a pool that is kid friendly would be great! Maddycakes:D
setsail Posted January 26, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2012 There is the Park Royal. Walk to from the dock and you can see it from the ship http://park-royalhotels.com/en/park-royal/cozumel
JohninDC Posted January 26, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2012 Paradise Beach installed a large, very nice pool about a year ago - pay as you go for food and drinks, clean changing facilities, and very family friendly. Or go all-inclusive at Nachi Cocom - about $50 for you and only $17 for your 6-year old. Nice pool (w/swim up bar), hot tub, not crowded, clean, great service, good food, maragritas for you and your daughter can enjoy all the smoothies mom will allow. ;) Both places are about a $15 cab ride from the pier - share the ride with some of your fellow cruisers and save $$. Good luck! :)
