Rare martincath Posted January 27, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2012 Suggestions for parking for 2 weeks without spending a fortune? Somewhere that isn't Vancouver...? :p Seriously though, parking is pricey here - not a lot of land to 'waste' on car parks. I'd look at the airport for cheap long-term parking then taking the Skytrain downtown. Here's a link to the official YVR parking lot prices - you can compare those with various private companies and also the hotel + parking rates to see which is cheapest when you want to come. http://www.yvr.ca/en/getting-to-from-yvr/parking.aspx Edit - here's a link to the official cruise ship parking at the pier too for comparison: http://www.vinciparkcanadaplace.ca/rates.html
Langley Cruisers Posted January 27, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2012 Can you provide more information? Your post is vague. There are two cruise ship terminals in Vancouver. What are your plans? Also, if you do end up parking long term at the airport, be sure to print out the coupon! It's right there on the website at the link ltdmcc provided. It'll save you a bunch. scottbee Posted January 27, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2012 Suggestions for parking for 2 weeks without spending a fortune? The Coast Plaza has a pretty decent park and stay w/ free shuttle to Canada Place. http://www.coasthotels.com/hotels/canada/bc/vancouver/coast_plaza/packages_and_specials/cruise
Putterdude Posted January 30, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 30, 2012 The Best Western - Downtown offers a Stay and Park package...it only includes 8 days of parking but I certain you could add the extra days for a fee. Hampton Inn - downtown also offers a package with 7 days parking included; again you would have to pay something for the extra days. Both Accent Inns, one in Burnaby and the other in Richmond near the airport also offer Stay and Park packages. All offer a shuttle to and from the pier.
