How do the new ships work?

I have been on the magic many times What do we need to know about the new ships in terms of dining etc. any tips would be appreciated. Thanks

They work exactly the same. The ship is somewhat larger, but will feel very familiar.

From a Dining perspective, you have the Royal Court, Enchanted Garden and Animator's Palette. There's more special effects with the latter two than on the Magic and Wonder. The Dream and Fantasy also add a second adult-only restaurant in Remy, which is a fine dining experience comparable to Victoria & Albert's in the Grand Floridian.

 

The buffet restaurant, Cabanas, has a different layout than Beach Blanket Buffet/'Topsiders. Instead of a single line, there are different stations.

I'm interested in knowing the dining rotation. I realize that people may start in different restaurants. But which one follows each???

You won't know your dining rotation until you ck in at the port.

We had RAE (Royal, Animators, Enchanted). Stands to reason that others were AER and ERA (but guessing)
