A deck you can walk totally around.

1 mile = 5280 feet

With the ships being at least 900 feet long, you will need to do about 6-7 laps

I think you forgot something. It's 900' forward-to-aft then another 900' aft-to-forward to complete a lap. Add in twice the width of the ship, and you're around 3 laps per mile.

One of my favorite things about our HAL Westerdam cruise last month was the wraparound Promenade deck. It was 3.5 laps per mile.

I hate running up on the top decks in the wind and I hate running on a treadmill, especially at sea. But the lower decks have too much traffic or too many obstacles go much faster than a stroll, unless you're out there at 5:00am.
