Last minute question

currently packing for my 3 day on the majesty and was wondering if the first night dress code in the dining room is casual?

 

as in, can I wear knee length denim shorts or knee length khaki shorts?

 

I'm trying to get away with just a carry on and packing one less "dressy" outfit will help.

Yes..you will be fine...i do the same thing on the 3 nighter...carry on only..

We were on a 4 nighter on Majesty. First night (and every night actually) had pretty much everything in the MDR. Personally I would go with the khaki shorts vs denim just because.

Thanks! I knew that was the case on Carnival (only line I've cruised) but wasn't sure for RC.

First night is ALWAYS very casual....2nd night formal....3rd night...casual!

You will see anything from shorts and t-shirts to khakis and button downs on the first night. Some people in the main seating won't even have their luggage yet!

Our luggage did not arrive in our cabin before MDR 6pm FOS this summer. We went into the MDR with pool hair and our clothes that we wore on the ship. You will see everything. Those that have their luggage will freshen up and have nicer clothes on and then there will be Flubs like us who are just in survival mode with what we had on our bodies. No worries.
